these two songs were recorded one night in june 2006 by ra and raet. two months after the session raet died of an overdose while on the trans-siberian railway en route to mongolia. ra shelved the recordings and lost all interest in making music. after living in tibet for a few years ra suddenly surfaced again. this time in stockholm, sweden. the two had previously shared an apartment in kolbotn, norway. ra played some music while in tibet, learned new instruments, and is now ready to record again. sunn((ra))) is, and will always be dedicated to raet.
